Question 4: 

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Research and Planning

To start with hardware/software:

I used a PC computer at school & my own macbook at home; with these i was able to complete most of my website on.

I used word to make all of my shooting schedules, risk assessments on

and i also used to word to create my sheets for my focus group.

The next piece of software i used was powerpoint, i used powerpoint to type and present my artist research's on.

Online programmes

I had to use google forms to create a questionnaire to find out my target audience,

I had to use Wix, I started with ZohoSites, but it crashed so i uploaded all my coursework portfolio onto wix.

Clicking on the wix.com logo below will take you to the homepage of my website.

I had to also use google and google images to find out some research on music videos, codes of conventions, i had to use google images to use photos to upload to my portfolio, to explain things in greater detail.

I also used slideshare to upload all my powerpoints and word documents onto enabling me to upload them to my wix site.

II finally; ended up using outlook/hotmail, to produce my copyright permission letter to birdy and her management.

Production & Post Production

Hardware/Software

I ended up recording my music video with my sister's canon 600D camera, with the normal lens it came with. I also used her tripos (as shown in the picture to the left ((When clicked the image will take you to my equipment list)) )

This was used for pan shots and tilt shots.

I ended up recording on two SD cards, one 16G one 8G (not my photo)

I used Premiere Pro After Effects, to reduce the noise in the screen on my clips, I also used after effects to fix the colouring of my room we filmed in, as it was very orangey.

I used Premiere Pro to edit my whole music video together, it helped me add effects and transitions. Finally add my song to the video.

I used SlideShare & Powerpoint to analyse digipak's and adverts and upload them to my website. If you click on the SlideShare logo, you will be sent to my Digipak Analysis page. If you click on the red Powerpoint logo, you will be sent to my advert analysis page.

I used Google Forms again to find out what my target audience thought about my music video.

I used photoshop to edit my digipak and advert. If you click the Photoshop logo it will take you to my Poster (Advert)

Before I used Premiere Pro, I started to use Final Cut Pro X that i bought for my MacBook, I made 3 rough cuts with FCP.
